ROYAL HASLAR VISIT 5th June 2024
Thanks to The Haslar Heritage Group, we had a very interesting tour of the 62 acres site today. Our initial assembly and introduction were in St. Lukes Church.(1756).
Our guides Mark Trasler and Marolyn, gave us a very informative walk and talk of this historic site. It was most interesting to view the development after the removal of redundant buildings, and hear of the proposed plans for redevelopment of the remaining historic buildings.
We were also fortunate to be present to witness the fly past of Dakotas and The Red Arrows, performing for the D-Day salutes across at Southsea Common.
AGM Reminder – 12th June 2024. 7pm for 7-30pm commencement.
